The EE895 3-in-1 sensor module is an ideal choice for measuring devices for demand controlled ventilation, building automation or for process control. Due to the low power consumption, the module is also suitable for battery-operated devices such as hand-held meters, data loggers or wireless transmitters.

A Single Module - 3 Measurands
The EE895 module measures not only the CO₂ concentration up to 10,000 ppm (1% CO₂) but also the temperature (T) and ambient pressure (p). The pressure and temperature compensation with on-board sensors minimizes the impact of the environment onto the CO₂ measurement. As a result, the EE895 offers a particularly high CO₂ measurement accuracy, independent of altitude or changing ambient conditions.

Long-Term Stable CO₂ Measuring Principle
The dual wavelength NDIR CO₂ measuring principle with auto-calibration ensures excellent long-term stability, as it automatically compensates for aging effects and is particularly resistant to contamination. The multi-point CO₂ and temperature factory adjustment procedure leads to excellent CO₂ measurement accuracy over the entire T working range from -40...60 °C (-40...140 °F).

Easy Design-In
The I²C and UART interfaces, the very small dimensions of only 35 mm x 15 mm x 7 mm (1.38" x 0.6" x 0.27") and various mounting options facilitate the design-in of the sensor module.

Flexibly Configurable 
The EE895 module can be configured via the digital interface. The CO₂ measurement interval can be set according to the application and the power requirements.

EE895 Evaluation Board for Test Purposes
The evaluation board, which is available as an accessory, allows easy testing of the EE895 with a view to the intended application. It is connected to the PC via a USB cable. Using the sensor evaluation software, which is available free of charge, the measurement data can be visualised and logged. Users have the option to set the EE895's measurement interval, and the desired measurement units for temperature and pressure.

Design Data and Support Literature
The electronic design data of the EE895 is available free of charge from the download area of the E+E website. This means that the 3D data from the sensing module can be quickly and easily transferred to a CAD design tool. Using the I²C interface, the EE895 module can be connected to various single board computers such as the Arduino or Raspberry Pi. Step-by-step instructions (available from the download area) help you program and integrate the EE895 into your application.

The CDS201 is optimised for demand controlled ventilation and building automation in residential and commercial applications. The versatile room sensor combines CO2, temperature (T) and relative humidity (RH) measurement in one device with modern design and state-of-the-art technology. The elegant enclosure is available in two sizes (EU and US format) and features an optional display.

Outstanding Measurement Performance
The CO2 measurement of the CDS201 relies on the pollution-resistant E+E dual wavelength NDIR technology. This measuring principle automatically compensates for ageing effects and ensures excellent long-term stability. The multiple point CO2 and temperature adjustment procedure leads to excellent CO2 measurement accuracy over the entire temperature working range.

The E+E proprietary sensor coating protects the RH/T sensing element from contamination and corrosive deposits. This improves the measuring performance and service life of the sensing element in dusty or dirty environments.

Outputs and Digital Interface
The CDS201 room sensor features analogue outputs or RS485 interface with Modbus RTU. In the digital version, the CDS201 also calculates the dew point temperature (Td). The measured values can also be read locally on the optional graphic display.

The version with RS485 interface can be set up and configured via PC with the free PCS10 Product Configuration Software and an optional configuration adapter.

Installation-friendly Enclosure
The enclosure of the CDS201 facilitates fast and thus cost-saving installation. The back cover with the push-in spring terminals can be mounted and wired without the front cover. This means that the electronics, which are accommodated in the front cover, are not exposed to construction site pollution. Before commissioning, the active part can be simply snapped onto the back cover. Besides, the electronics part can be replaced without tools within seconds.

The Sigma 05 sensor hub represents the central element of the E+E modular sensor ecosystem with intelligent probes, analogue outputs and display. With pluggable, interchangeable probes, the modular sensor platform is suitable even for harsh and challenging environment. The Sigma 05 is available with polycarbonate or die-cast aluminium enclosure.

Flexibility: Multiple Probes and Measurands
The Sigma 05 accommodates up to 3 E+E sensing probes with RS485 interface and Modbus RTU protocol. Up to 5 measurands can be assigned to the two freely selectable and scaleable analogue outputs and to the optional graphic display.

Plug-and-Play 
Sigma 05 features automatic detection of E+E probes and performs an autonomous, rule based hub setup. Refer to the user manual for details.

Configuration and Adjustment 
The free PCS10 Product Configuration Software allows for easy setup of the Sigma 05, measurand assignment and thresholds, display layout, scaling of the analogue outputs and adjustment of the connected probes.

  • EE872 incorporates the E+E dual wavelength NDIR CO2 sensor, which automatically compensates for ageing effects, is highly insensitive to pollution and ensures an outstanding long term stability. The multi-point CO2 and temperature adjustment leads to an outstanding measurement accuracy. The RH sensing element with E+E proprietary coating is suitable even for aggressive and corrosive environment.
  • Beside CO2, the EE872 measures also relative humidity (RH), temperature and ambient pressure (p). Additionally, the devices calculated also the dew point temperature (Td).
  • The heated versions of the EE872 are suitable even for high humidity and condensing environment. The IP65 enclosure and the PTFE filter cap offer excellent protection in polluted environment. With a catalytic filter cap, the EE872 is also appropriate for applications with periodical H2O2 sterilization.

The E+E CO₂ sensors feature the dual wavelength/dual detector NDIR principle. One detector is tuned to 4.2 µm wavelengths, which is absorbed by CO₂, the second detector on 3.9 µm, which is not affected by any gas.
